I walk around in the alleys of the old part of town in Split, when I suddenly stand in front of the Art Studio Naranća.

A nice gallery in the alleys of the old part of town Split (Majstora Jurja), with great graphic art prints and paintings.

I find a nice bag with a graphic print and when I pay for it, I realised that the man in front of me is the gallery owner and the artist Pavo Majić.

So I ask if I could take a portrait photo of him?

”Ok, no problem” he said ”But not here with the bad backlight from the window, over there is much better ” So we move to another place in the gallery, where I take the photos.

On my way out frome the gallery I see some photos hanging on the wall, one with Pavo and Leonard Cohen and another together with Patti Smith.

A nice and unexpected meeting with a interessting man and a great artist.
